Choosing the right starter Champion

If you are looking for a champion that will last you a long time choose either Athel or Kael as their skillset are good in most situations.

Ashwalker is an Attack Rare champion from the Knights Revenant Faction. Ashwalker has a kit based around Turn Meter manipulation and Debuffs, and can be utilised for many encounters in the early game. Both his A1 & A2 skills have decent single target damage potential, and they work together pretty well.

Perfect Souls allow you to Awaken your Champion to the exact Level of Awakening indicated by the number of red stars on the Soul, without any further steps or requirements. If you're lucky enough to find a 6-star Perfect Soul for a Champion, you can fully Awaken them in a single step.

Templar's unique ability to self-buff with Block Damage meant you could avoid the dreadbomb damage and therefore allow him to solo the boss (although you most likely will need to manual).

It is going to depend on exactly what you need. On a nuker, Savage/Lethal + cruel is hard to beat, unless they already ignore defense in their kit, then you want something else. Relentless is great, especially for max hp nukers who have their damage capped, so you just want to have them take more turns.

The only Aura that will work against Clan Boss is an All Battles Aura. Aura's are generally stronger on Legendary Champions and weakest on Rare Champions however this is not always the case! You retain this additional Aura bonus even if your leader dies.
