TikToker Daisy Blooms started the trend involving the famous footballer Lionel Messi with the 2022 Men’s World Cup trophy Argentina won.
But what connection does a TikToker have with one of the most famous footballers living on the planet?
According to her Instagram, Daisy Blooms’ real name is Jameliz Benitez Smith. She is a popular content creator on TikTok (3.5 million followers), Instagram (858k followers), and OnlyFans. In a viral TikTok, above a pic of her, a text appears saying, “Did you see the pic of you on Messi’s trophy?” It invites curiosity and draws people to her OnlyFans page to see the explicit and exclusive content.This later became the Daisy Messi Trophy trend, which confused many online.
Who Is Daisy Blooms?
Daisy Blooms is a content creator on multiple platforms. On TikTok, she has 3.5 million followers and has likes going up to almost 50 million combined on all of her published videos till now.
At only 22 years old, she is popular on the platform thanks to her modeling, dance, and lifestyle content. Daisy became famous on TikTok after a video of her dancing on top of a car went viral and gained over 2 million views.
Daisy is also on Instagram under the name Jameliz Benitez Smith and handle @jellybeanbrainss. There, she has a whopping 859k followers and generally posts self-portraits of herself modeling.
Apart from these two platforms, she is also on OnlyFans, where content creators share intimate and nude photos exclusively with their subscribers.
Now, she is again in the conversation because of a new trend that has bewildered many and yet given content creators a way to drive up traffic to their sites.

In the viral TikTok created by Daisy Blooms, she can be seen on camera as a text flashes up saying, “Did you see the pic of you on Messi’s trophy?” Then, the tone shifts, and Blooms goes away from the camera.
All this while American rapper Gunna’s famous track plays in the background. This TikTok has garnered around 10 million views and more than 700k likes on her account at the time of writing.
However, the comments section is perplexed and trying to decode the meaning of the video. So what does this mean?

One user, @Joseph, clarified that the video aimed to show explicit images of the original video makers superimposed on the World Cup trophy/other trophies of the footballing superstar Lionel Messi.
But since TikTok has strict rules on the posting of nude or sexually explicit content, such videos generally leave a link to the creator’s OnlyFans accounts. There, the original pics can be seen. Of course, provided the person is subscribed to the account.
The video also invites curiosity and creates an aura of being able to see exclusive content. So it looks like Daisy Blooms has started a new clever trend to drive more traffic to her OnlyFans page by drawing in football fans.
As for why she specifically chose Lionel Messi and no other footballer, it’s probably because recently he won the 2023 Ballon d’Or. So, he has been trending more on social media due to it. Or maybe just because he is one of the most well-known footballers in the world.
As expected, the new trend is spreading; many other content creators are eager to cash in on this. Many are adding new tracks and also unique voiceovers.
It’s clear that this is the new trend that will keep hold of TikTok for some time as more and more people come up with unique narratives to push the trend further into new territories.
