What are the Admission Prices?

What Does Admission Include?

General admission (GA) includes entry to the festival and the concert.

VIP admission includes entry to the festival, VIP tent access, VIP concert viewing area, 1 meal and 3 drinks.

How Much to Ride the Rides?

Unlimited ride wristbands are $35

Individual tickets are $1 with each ride costing about 4-10 tickets

Are Tickets Refundable?

Ticket purchases are final and are non-refundable. The Ostrich Festival is rain or shine.

All sales are final. All tickets are purchased at risk of inclement weather. Management is not responsible for articles lost, misplaced, or stolen at the event for which this ticket grants admission. Time, date, and location of event are subject to change. This ticket will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged for any reason. Shipping, handling, and service charges are non-refundable, even if the event is cancelled.

Can I Update my Shipping Address After I Purchase a Ticket?

What Are the Acceptable Forms of Payment?

Food and commercial vendors & parking will NOT accept cash

The only cash that will be accepted at the festival will be at the ticket box office, carnival kiosks (rides and carnival games), and the wristband reload tents, where you can pre-load cash onto your RFID wristband.

Accepted forms of payment are through your RFID wristband, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay

Are There any Prohibited Items?

The following items are prohibited from the Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival:

  • Outside food and drinks except for 1 factory-sealed water bottle per person and medical or infant needs
  • Drugs and narcotics (prescription medication exception)
  • Clear bags larger than 20”x 15”x 9” and non-clear bags larger than 4.5”x 6.5”
  • Fireworks and laser pointers
  • No glass cups or bottles of any kind except for medical or infant needs
  • Video cameras and cameras longer than 12 inches (including body, lens and filter)
  • Coolers and hard containers
  • Insulated water bottles (ex: hydroflask, Yeti, Stanley)
  • Aerosol cans
  • Pets except for service animals
  • No radios, televisions or other electronic noise producing items
  • Skates, skateboards, skate-shoes, scooters, all cycles, hoverboards, mopeds and segways
  • Unmanned Aircraft Systems & Radio-Controlled Model Aircraft/Drones (strictly prohibited on park property)
  • Weapons of any kind, including concealed carry, are prohibited including but not limited to firearms or knives
  • Gang paraphernalia including but not limited to symbols, emblems, insignia, bandanas, colors or other gang identifiers.
  • Any other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by event organizers or security officials
  • All individuals and bags are subject to search
  • Management reserves the right to add or change items to this at any time

Are There Ostrich Races at the Festival?

No, there are not ostrich races at the festival. Ostriches will be onsite roaming freely in a designated area.

Are There any Safety Measures for Children?

Child safety check-in booths are located near each entrance. Children will receive a wristband with their parent’s phone numbers, parent’s names, and child’s name. Should they be separated from their parents, children will be taken to the Child Safety Pick-up located near the first aid tent.

What Bashas' and Food City Locations are Selling Tickets?

Select Bashas’ and Food City locations will be participating in selling Ostrich Festival tickets this year. A full list of locations can be found here.

Are Cameras, Drones and GoPros Allowed?

Professional photo and video equipment of any kind is not allowed on festival grounds. This includes but is not limited to professional photo and video cameras, drones, GoPros, etc.

Where are Nursing Mothers Allowed to Feed?

The Ostrich Festival is family friendly and encourages mothers to breastfeed anywhere on our property they feel comfortable.

What is the Clear Bag Policy?

Yes, below are listed what bags are allowed and not allowed.

Allowed

Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or 30.5 x 15.25 x 30.5 cm. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs, clear diaper bags, and clear cinch bags that fit within the permissible dimensions.

Small bags, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ in size, with or without a handle or strap are allowed.

Medical bags (Up to 20x15x9)

  • Will be permitted upon inspection

Metal detector screening and a search of all items being carried in will take place at festival gates. There are no provisions available at the festival to store or safeguard any prohibited bags. Guests will be asked to return prohibited items to their vehicle.

Not Allowed

Clear bags larger than 20”x 15”x 9” and non-clear bags larger than 4.5”x 6.5”

Coolers* (unless medically necessary), briefcases, non-clear backpacks, non-clear fanny packs, non-clear cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, bins, and cameras.

Where Are the Free Shuttle Pick-up/Drop-off Locations?

Shuttles are complimentary for all current and future ticket holders both weekends of the festival.

Shuttle Service:

  • Shuttles will run every fifteen minutes on the hour.
  • Operating Hours:
    • Friday, March 8 and 15: 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
    • Saturday, March 9 and 16: 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
    • Sunday, March 10 and 17: 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
  • ADA shuttle will be available from Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

Pick-Up Locations:

  • Downtown Chandler Parking Garage (Near First Credit Union)
    • 100 E Boston St, Chandler, AZ 85225
  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College (Lot 9 on the north side of the campus near the soccer fields)
    • 2626 E Pecos Rd, Chandler, AZ 85225
  • Parking at these locations is free.

Drop-Off Location:

  • West Gates of the festival at the crossroads of McQueen Road and Ryan Road.
Where is Parking Available?

Yes, limited parking will be available at Tumbleweed Park and can be accessed off Hamilton Rd or McQueen Road and Celebration. Parking is available for online and onsite purchase.

You can also park for free at both of our complimentary shuttle locations!

Where is the Handicap Accessible Parking?

Handicap accessible parking is located in parking lot 2 on McQueen Rd. and Celebration Dr.

Where can Pedestrians be Dropped Off/Picked up at the Festival?

Drop off and pick up location is at the Chandler Park and Ride located at 2100 Hamilton St, Chandler, AZ 85286.

Are Rides Free?

Ride tickets and unlimited ride wristbands can be purchased for an additional fee at the festival. Unlimited ride wristbands are $40. Fast Passes are $30. Individual ride tickets can be purchase for $1. For a list of rides and required amount of tickets please click here.

What is a Fast Pass?

The Fast Pass Includes expedited entry to nearly all carnival rides in the Butler Amusem*nts carnival midway. Fast passes can only be purchased inside the festival for $30. Limited quantity available each day.

Are Lawn Chairs Allowed into the Festival?

Yes, lawn chairs are allowed. The festival does not provide lockers or storage for any personal property brought into the event.

Can I Bring Outside Food/Drink into the Festival?

It's huge with at least 40 food vendors, must be 50 carnival rides for kids. It's a well run event with tons of dining options. Prices aren't crazy so it's very affordable and entertaining. Police presence is great and seriously 3 years and never saw an issue.
